David Canisius (DJ)
Berlin based violinist and DJ David Canisius is not only known for his Yellow Lounge event series promoting classical music in Berlin’s hottest clubs including Berghain, Cookies or Weekend as well as on exclusive events around the world accompanied by international big shots like Sting, Neil Tennant, Elvis Costello, Carl Craig and Rufus Wainwright amongst many others. As a violinist he is playing in orchestras like The German Chamber Orchestra or The Capital Dance Orchestra alongside with star performers like Nina Hagen, Barbara Schöneberger, Jochen Kowalski, Katja Riemann or the Puppetmastaz! As a DJ he mixes himself fluently through the history of classical music and invites the listener on a musical journey. Due to his international stage experience and sophisticated taste and style, he is able to conquer the hearts of nearly any audience.
