After shaking the electronic musical scene at his home turf, Andrés Astorga, better known as Trujillo, dedicated himself to consolidate several musical projects as part of an rising and prolific facet as Musician/DJ/Producer. As a DJ, Trujillo has held residences at Caracas top clubs, doing the infamous party called Voyage together with his Venezuelan partner David Rondón, a monthly residence since almost 5 years now who has held internationally acclaimed artists like Hercules & Love Affair, Rory Phillips and Soul Clap, to name a few. He also has been a guest around the globe in venues in New York, Miami, Berlin, Paris, London, Dubai, Ibiza and St. Barth. His sound has led him to collaborate with renowned European labels as Apersonal and Sonar Kollektiv, which feature his own material as well as original and remix work from Mark E, Social Disco Club, Toby Tobias, Eddie C, Daniel Avery, Ron Basejam, Cosmic Kids amongst others. Trujillo is currently working along with his good friend Claas Brieler from Jazzanova on a cultural project about a Venezuelan musician from the 70’s called Daniel Grau, where they will release on Sonar Kollektiv a 2xCD/LP compilation of his complete work amongst a serie of 12″ reworks from top international House & Disco producers of the actual scene. Waiting for upcoming releases on top Slomo, House & Disco labels of Europe and the US, Trujillo seems to be in the most prolific moment of his career; through his eyes one can see his iris spinning like a disco ball.
