Paul Frick’s rework of Aggregat’s „C.R.T.“ is most far from the original as you may expect. Frick goes directly towards the minimalism style. Compared to the original four to the floor, hard, but melodious and danceable track with cello, synths and drums, Frick does not use the natural timbre of the original acoustic instruments, but instead replaces them with synth sounds and synthetic drums. Through the kick drum you still realize the typical transparent, funky and slightly hollow Paul Frick-Style that leaves every sound space on its own, but combines them to each other creating a completely new and virtuosic sound to a total new thing at a higher level.
